Critical Variables of My Life

Recently, I have been working on various projects (investments, new businesses, coaching, training…) and I was not happy with the progress I was making on those different projects. I thought I was lacking discipline.

I brought it up during my last coaching session with my coach and I realized that I was not lacking discipline. I was lacking awareness about the way I was applying discipline to different topics.

I realized that I am operating more through mental agendas. I could have several agendas during the day, month, and year. If a topic is on my agenda, I work with a high level of discipline. If not, I just don’t do it. I thought that was a problem, but I realized that it is a strength… it’s about focusing.

So, as I realized I have high discipline once I set my agenda, I made a decision.

I decided not to share anything on social media until September and to stay committed to making progress on the high-priority topics in my agenda.

What is on my agenda? Actually, nothing specific.

I want to spend more quality time with my family, parents, and friends. I want to read books that I genuinely want to read (not because I need to read them) and write about whatever topics I am interested in. I also want to spend some time doing nothing.

Publishing daily on social media makes time fly by for me. I want to slow it down a little.

So, see you back in September. Until then, I might not be able to respond to messages on LinkedIn, and I appreciate your understanding.
